• The current BIM software market offers us many opportunities for choice as to which tool we are going to use. Each of the programs is different and provides a variety of features to the user.
  
  What if many industries are working on the project, and each of them uses another software and different native formats? How do the industries cooperate while exchanging models?
  
  Now we shall see, what is IFC for?
  
  IFC is the ability to allow collaboration between the various technical roles involved in the construction process, allowing them to exchange information through a standard format.
  
  This results in higher quality, the reduction of errors, reduction of costs and saving of time, with consistent data and information flowing from the design phase through to realization and maintenance.
